John Rivers of 4Rivers Smokehouse launching first cookbook with November tour of all four locations Oct 29th 2013, 16:10, by By Heather McPherson, Food Editor John Rivers, founder of the Texas-inspired 4Rivers Smokehouses, will launch his first cookbook “The Southern Cowboy,” in a monthlong tour of book signings at all four Florida Smokehouse locations. The tour begins Nov. 8 in Jacksonville (9220 Baymeadows Road) from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and Gainesville (3262 SW 35th Blvd.) from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, the tour moves to Longwood (1869 W State Road 434) from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and onto Winter Park (1600 W Fairbanks Ave) from 5:30-7:30 p.m. On Saturday, Nov. 23, Rivers will be at the Winter Garden restaurant (1047 S Dillard St.) from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Media files: 16x9
