4 Rivers working on new restaurant called The COOP Jul 9th 2013, 17:33, by By Heather McPherson, Food Editor John Rivers, chef owner of the highly successful 4 Rivers Smokehouse chain, has new restaurant venture planned called The COOP. Think fried chicken, but with shrimp and grits, brisket shepherd's pie and more twists on home-style favorites. Rivers and his team are looking in the Winter Park area, possibly the former O'Boy's property on Morse Boulevard. Rivers confirmed that his team is "working on it [the concept and location] but still have a ways to go on the lease." Media files: 16x9
