The advertising line is: "Because Santa likes it Hot." And the makers encourage revelers to be bad little elves by slipping the fiery treat to "unsuspecting friends (and children) or enjoying after a tasty bento box." Somebody is getting coal in their stocking. But I do like their suggestion to crush the candy canes and served over ice cream or use them as as a spicy-sweet holiday cocktail stirrer.
