Ocoee Texas Roadhouse meat cutter advances in National Meat Cutting Challenge

Tony Caro of Ocoee has advanced to the semifinals of the Texas Roadhouse National Meat Cutting Challenge. Caro recently competed against 27 other skilled meat cutting specialists from Texas Roadhouse restaurants in 15 states at Ice Sports Forum in Tampa. March 27 in 24 meat cutting professionals (8 challengers from each of 3 regions) including Caro will compete in Dallas for one of seven spots. Those seven finalists will compete in the National Meat Cutting Challenge May 5 in Maui, Hawaii. The winner of the national competition receives a grand prize of $20,000 and is crowned Meat Cutter of the Year.
