Kings Bowl Orlando to redefine bowling alley fare

Kings Bowl will open on International Drive in Orlando.

First is was Downtown Disney’s Splitsville, now Kings Bowl Orlando, which is scheduled to open in April at 8255 S. International Drive, is tossing the concept of bowling food in the gutter. Kings’ full service restaurant feature modern twists on classic bar fare, such as cheeseburger spring rolls, fried mac & cheese bites and homemade buffalo chicken wontons. Entrees will include steak tips and house-smoked baby back ribs and steak tips. The alley ice cream shop will offer creative sundaes and delicious homemade desserts. The 30,000-square-foot dining, bowling and entertainment venue will feature 22 lanes, billiards, shuffleboard and 60 big screen TVs. Kings Bowl is a Boston-based that pioneered the “boutique bowling" revolution in 2003. KINGS Orlando will be differentiated by transforming into an adults-only experience after dark. By day, families with children can bowl and savor homemade ice cream and other treats. At 6 p.m, general public admission moves to adults only, ages 21 and above. Andre Bautista is the executive chef. Kings Bowl of America has locations in Boston; Dedham, Mass.; and Rosemont, Ill. Expansion plans include future locations in Burlington and Lynnfield, Mass.
