If you like eating in the fast food lane, you’ll notice that Burger King and Wendy’s have added new menu items.
At Burger King, guests will find white meat chicken nuggets in a crispy tempura-style batter (offered in four, six, 10 or 20-piece servings at $1, $1.99 and $2.69 respectively with the 20-piece serving at just $4.29 starting Jan. 7), an avocado Swiss Whopper sandwich, a Philly chicken sandwich, molten fudge bites, a molten fudge sundae, cheesy Tots (crunchy bite-sized snacks made with a warm mix of potatoes and American cheese) and a Italian chicken sandwich.
At Wendy’s the value menu has been revamped to include up to 18 menu items ranging from 99 cents to $1.99. Examples include four cheeseburgers, three types of chicken wraps, two side salad options, chili and a chicken sandwich. Additionally, Wendy's is promoting a $1.99 Kids' Meal after 4 p.m. with options for apple slices, Juicy Juice apple juice or TruMoo milk.
